We’ve included several suggested help pages that you can use to enhance the Installer’s help window. See the document “Installer 4.0 Technical Guide” for more information about adding help pages to your script using the ‘inpr’ resource.
The file “Help 'PICT' Resources” contains ‘PICT’ resources that describe in more detail the features of Installer 4.0. Some of the ‘PICT’ resource are for scripts using the destination folder mode and others are for disk mode.
The file “Help Screen Fonts” contains the fonts we used to create the main text of the supplied 'PICT'. Please do not distribute these fonts. The font in the graphic portion (left edge area) of the help window is Apple Garamond Bk.
Since you have complete control over the contents of the help pages, feel free to completely replace our default help pages with images that better communicate the personality of your company and product. If you do not create your own help pages and have disk space, please include the appropriate help pages we have supplied.
